With over 22 years of medical care experience, Heidi has the privilege of sharing with her patients her deep accumulated knowledge garnered through a combination of conventional traditional cancer treatment and evidence-based complimentary and integrative therapies. Always committed to advancing education for patient care, Heidi has recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing Practice through Griffith University; finishing with an award for academic excellence. Heidi is now undertaking the second half of her Masters Degree, focusing on Oncology and Research.

In addition to her most recent years as an Integrative Oncology Nurse, Heidi has spent the majority of her career in Emergency and Intensive Care Nursing gaining valuable expertise in the complexities of chronic care medicine. Heidi felt that the hospital system failed to focus on the patients in a holistic sense and entered into the area of Integrative Medicine at the National Institute of Integrative Medicine in 2018. Heidi mentored under Dr. Taufiq Binjemain in the area of Integrative Cancer Support until 2024. As an integral part of holistic cancer care, Heidi worked within a team supporting patients, and providing education and support through their cancer journey. Heidi has now built a business that focuses on holistic, patient-centred care for people with a cancer diagnosis. It is from many years of listening to patients that Heidi understands the complex problems that arise with this life-altering diagnosis. Navigating cancer is a highly stressful time and Heidi has the experience to help patients through this journey.
